I’ve been reading the comments about unsubscribing from retail e-mails, catalogues, etc. What a good idea! I had not thought of that. What I *did* think of? Um . . .buying stuff before August 31. Did anyone else do that?

do you mean not buy? I didn’t buy one thing, figuring I could very well move ahead and start the learning process sooner!
Actually, I didn’t officially sign up till September 1, but since I first heard about t his on Aug. 28 and haven’t bought anything after that, I’m counting that as my start date! I did not feel stressed at all starting this without a final shopping blitz, we’ll see how it’s going in a few weeks.
Actually, I was more like the person who eats a slice of cake and 1/2 of a pizza the night before the diet. I bought some things knowing I would go on the diet . . . .so it was almost sorta like cheating kinda.
