Greenwood Sip and Ship Lost: One Gap Denim Jacket
Sep 23

sally.0909 002Hey girls, I have a big ol’ hole in my jeans.  I know, I know, holes are in and all but I’m starting to feel a little self conscious in a Courtney Love sort of way.  I saw a friend of mine who had patched her jeans with a “love” patch that looked like something straight out of Woodstock.  It’s definately a look, just not sure it’s mine.  Hmmm.  Any ideas?   I am afraid if Idon’t do something soon this little hole may become a gapping tear and my underwear will begin to show.  Ideas?  Thoughts?  Maybe I go the Anthropologie route and sew some kitchen hardware over it.

My  husband tried to surprise me with a new pair of jeans but they didn’t fit.  I know gifts are o.k. but we all know it’s hard enough buying your own pair of jeans, imagine if someone else (a manly man) tried to do it for you?  Let’s just say when it comes to jeans it is not the thought the counts it’s the fit of the jeans that matters.   So that leaves me back where we started.  What should I do with the holes in my jeans.  Cutoffs are not an option.

Scarf it, honey! Ribbon, maybe? Buttons, perhaps? Could be very fun! Whatever you do, women everywhere will want to know where you bought such fabulous custom jeans!
