You know those $20.00 Reward certificates that Nordstrom mails out when you have reached a certain level of purchases? You don’t have to use them by the “expiration” date. They are good forever! You don’t even need to have them with you when you make a purchase.
If you are ever in the store and you remember you have one that you left at home, or are not even sure if you have one or not, you can have the person ringing up your purchase (of underwear, shoes, or accessories) do a check in the system, and if you have one, it will show in your account. You can use it right then if you want.
Why am I telling you this? So that if you happen to get one in the near future, you do not have to be tempted to cheat on the diet. You can hold onto it till September, even if it says “use by”. (They just put that on the certificate to encourage you to use it soon.)
Just thought you should all know that.
Excellent insight and good reason to avoid excuses!
Several months ago, I was taking a walk with a friend. I looked down and saw a $40.00 Nordstrom Note just laying on the sidewalk. My friend didn’t even know what it was. I was like “OH NO! Someone has lost their Nordstrom Note!!!” I looked at the name…and lo and behold, it was a customer of mine. I even had her phone number on my desk. I returned the note to her and we both laughed about what a small world it is. I love those notes. I have been spending mine on Make-up instead of clothes.
