The other day I was at work and I realized that my favorite pair of dress pants’ zipper broke. grr. I have two more pairs of black pants but the one has to be hemmed and the other is too big but I can wear them with a belt. Another reason I need to rethink my shopping habits. I don’t have enough hangers to hang all my clothes but I only have two pairs of good black slacks? Where are my clothing priorities?
So now I have to either try to mend the broken zipper( which I have never done before) or find a tailor to do it and hem my other pants.

Hey Allison – sorry to hear about your pants. Boo. On the tailoring front: at least out here, tailors can generally hem pants pretty inexpensively. And, it may be cheaper to have your bigger pair taken in then to try and replace the broken zipper on the others.

Ok…I’ve got an amazing tailor that can fix anything…Find one in your neighborhood and all will be just fine. A good tailor is better than a good doctor!
