My friend Cathy joined months ago and has been an inspiration for me to join too — better late than never! I have to confess something right away… one of the reasons it seemed ‘easy’ for me to join is because my weakness really is shoes. And just prior to joining, I bought 4 pairs. Okay… I bought them online with the intention of returning most because I am difficult to fit. However, it does make this diet easier knowing that the occasional footwear purchase is allowed! Welcome aboard! I too have a shoe problem and recently indulged myself for Christmas/Master’s Degree graduation present. I know I don’t really need all of my shoes (and belts for that matter), but they really help you feel like you aren’t wearing the same outfit every day so I do try to refresh my shoes once a year or so. I am trying to be more conscious about where my shoes come from, but there just aren’t a lot of choices and the ones that are earth friendly are typically not wallet friendly…hopefully manufacturers will make some improvements in this arena.
