Yep, Izzy, that’s right. I’ve somehow lost an important article of clothing as well. Did you ever succomb and purchase a replacement? I can’t recall. But I’ve looked everywhere for my very simple, very practical, very “goes with everything in casual San Diego” Gap jean jacket. It hasn’t even been the teenie tiniest bit cold here in San Diego yet, but I needed it for a quick trip to SanFran this past week, for the plane. And, it’s no where to be found.
It would’ve been perfect with my yoga pants for the bloody 7:45 am flight I took; for later that evening, sitting outside the Mill Valley hotel having drinks with co-workers in my brown capris and white CAbi wraparound top; today over my workout clothes (post kayaking Sausalito adventure) when I stopped with my friend, Karen, in the Marina for delicious salads at Blue Barn; and tonight over yet another pair of yoga pants when walking my dog, Ferdinand. In a few weeks, it will be San Diego autum and a denim jacket becomes a staple for beach outings or dog walks. It was MUCH cuter than a hoodie. It doesn’t get cold enough here at night to pull out the fabulous coats from my Seattle days. So, I guess its going to be either a sweatshirt or a pashmina.
I just may have to start creatively hinting around. . .
I happen to have a hardly-worn deep blue denim jacket from Old Navy, size medium. I bought it for my daughter and she never wore it. Might that work?
Jean! So thoughtful. . .a simple blue denim jacket from Old Navy is just the thing. Sadly, I’m not a Medium in jackets. . .I need a large. BUMMER! But thanks so much for the offer!!!!
OMG- just seeing this now. You lost something, too. Tragic, isn’t it? I have been a good girl and NOT replaced my lost black cardi. Still hoping for a miracle.
