Hey! I got my braces off today. And Dr. Nelson’s office got me a parting gift…instead of a bag of candy, like the kids get, I got a Chanel lipgloss. The color, my favorite, Spark. I recommend this color to everyone in the Chanel line, and I cannot believe the office didn’t bug my phone this year, or else, how did they know? It was very, very magical. I also treated myself, since I cannot buy a new sweater this winter, to all new make-up from Nordstrom. My Make-up artist, Katrina Sparacino picked out each thing for me, I ended up spending about $200.00 or so. But, I would have spent that on a sweater, and I wear my face everyday, right? If I had known that Kathy at my Ortho’s office was going to splurge on the Chanel for me, I might have skipped the YSL lipstick, but I do love it. I also got a lip liner from YSL, and an eyeshadow from Nars (alhambra, I recommend this color for the holidays, too) and the YSL foundation for dry skin. Here are some pics of my new unchained teeth, rewarded with a new lip color. Ladies, don’t hold onto cosmetics for years because you don’t want to waste it, if it is old, toss it out. You are saving money with this clothes diet, now go get some new lipstick and mascara.
