Almost fell off the wagon… Pass the salad

I had a visit earlier tonight with my “Ayurvedic Practitioner”.  I started this journey with him back in my “corporate days” trying to reduce the stress and add some color back to my cheeks — and hair to my head since it was falling out in large clumps. I still see my “AP” every other month as a check in of sorts, and because why wouldn’t I want to be doused in oils from head to toe? Except this time I left feeling like a greasy macadamia nut slightly brushed with coconut oil, white pepper and fresh cut grass.

How does this relate to this wonderful diet we have all succumbed to? Well it doesn’t. And I guess that’s my point. Clothes and the thought of clothes have vanished. I don’t even flip through the Anthropologie catalogue that still arrives at my door.  Shoes, well that’s a different story. Three new pairs have landed in my closet in the past week – two I bought, the third was a gift. I might be putting holes in my jeans, but my shoes are the story I am telling!

And about the Ayurveda – one last comment – use Sesame Oil to remove your make up at night. Hain’s makes a great oil – and it lasts a super long time.

Namaste
