no buying for one year

The Christmas holidays kick of Friday morning at 5:00am on Black Friday. I will be asleep when the retail stores open for the hordes of holiday shoppers. I will probably venture out later in the day to test the waters while visiting with my parents for Thanksgiving.
Although this year will be different. I always end up purchasing clothing for me while shopping for others on my list. This will be a test and I am sure I will survive but it will come with a bit of remorse. I haven’t felt the pinch of not shopping for myself yet and this will be the real thing. I plan on confronting it head on and it will leave me more grateful come Christmas. I will also have more to share with others…so I can buy some cool things for those that don’t have the luxury… Happy Thanksgiving!
