OK, so I have some fantastic news to share with my wonderfully-supportive fellow “dieters”… My husband landed a job! We endured over a year of unemployment – with belt-tightening to the Nth degree – but I am thrilled to announce that we’re officially “back in business”, as it were! There is MUCH “catch up” to do as we have essentially pushed our financial “reset” button, but needless to say, we are incredibly thankful and relieved!
I also want to thank everyone for their supportive comments, suggestions and feedback here on our group blog. I have felt part of a caring community here at TGAAD and it has help buoy my spirits. Between the words of encouragement and thoughtful replies to my posts, there is always something here to remind me that TGAAD is more than just a little social experiment
Although we now have an income again, I’m remaining true to my TGAAD commitment and have not purchased any clothing… Well, at least not for myself. I did buy my husband 3 pairs of shorts for his birthday, and it felt amazing to finally be buying birthday gifts for family again.
Well, just 48 more days to go, everyone… we can do it! Hang in there and let us all know how it’s going for YOU!
