no buying for one year

Just a quick note to let you all know that I happily received “unsolicited gifts” from my mother, mother-in-law and husband for my birthday. All clothing. All fantastic. (And I didn’t have to point to anything in a store and walk away acting the innocent. All gifts were bought in my absence and without my pestering influence.)

I must say, if I weren’t on TGAAD, I’m not sure I would have received such a generous upgrade to my closet. Books are the usual fair. So actually, this diet is working out pretty well for me.

I know. You all hate me right now, but just think: after the December holiday, I’ll be suffering a long stretch of nothing. Might as well gloat now.
