The Great American Apparel Diet

no buying for one year

I’ve been committed to this journey for a little over 6 hours now.  I know you lovely ladies officially started this diet on Sept. 1st…what can I say?  I’m always late!  I look forward to the next 358 days, (yes, I’m already counting down!) sharing the struggles and accomplishments with all of you.  I think living with less will be freeing!

I’d like to ask you all this…Will you be going cold turkey?  Any Window shopping? Online & catalog browsing?

   I will always keep looking! How to avoid looking???? I was addicted to Bluefly.com for a while, maybe I will lay off that site for a while.

   I will definitely window shop but I’ve been pretty good about ignoring all the fall sneak preview emails I’ve been receiving from Ann Taylor, Nordy’s, and Anthropologie. Right now, this is easy. I think I will face my temptations next month when I go birthday shopping for my sister and when the holiday season comes around.
