Kim Clements
Kim is a 43 yr. old mother of 3, architect and designer and business owner. With 3 boys, 1 dog, a husband and a 58 person small company, shopping for clothing can be random and uninformed because there is not time to do it thoughtfully as it should be done. Much like the food you eat, when you are starved and stessed you frequently go for the giant cookie or the snickers and a latte ..... whatever is put in front of your face basically..... without asking the question "Is this what I want to eat or how I want to eat it? What would I really like if I had the time and the space to make a more informed choice?" That is kind of how I see the opportunity of Sally's little experiment TGAAD. I am actually looking forward to taking the time to think about what I really want and buy less but buy better. I am even thinking about how to extend the bounds of this habit changing experiment to what I buy for my boys. It is a fun challenge when you are working, volunteering at school, and living in a city to see how great you can look without just buying the first thing you see just because it is there.
