People say when life hands you lemons make lemonade, I make lemonade, lemon zest, lemon marine pie and an awesome dinner centerpiece! That’s just me taking my resources and sharing with everybody I know to make sure they’re happy. The problem is over time it has come at a huge cost to me…lol. Financially and mentally, I shop because it feels good and I have limited responsibility so why not? I’m living in the quarter stage of my life as I call it I should have what I want and have fun! Now going through my quarter life crisis it’s time to grow up. Now my feel good is coming from accomplishing things that makes ME happy CANDIANCE A SMITH! That means paying off my credit, going back to school to land my dream job, and having an AWESOME credit score to get my house…MY HOUSE.
I was born in a small place called Kalamazoo , MI (don’t laugh, yes it is real), but I was basically raised in Washington , DC where me and my mom moved to at age 8. I attended college at Kent State University where at the time I consistently owned over 100 pair of jeans each semester. I Graduated in 2005 with a B.A. in Communication Studies and credit card debt because as I put it I was rich in college. I’ve been blessed to have several growing and enriching positions within the media industry that has allowed me to meet and network with awesome people and enjoy experiences that one could only imagine. Now at this juncture in the road I want more, so I’m changing industries and growing up in a sense doing things my way to make me happy. This diet is one of those things that beyond people saying I can’t do it I will prove to the world I can and WILL!
I enjoy traveling, reading, and re-creating magazine ads, editorials, and window displays whether it’s in my closet or my room. Inspiration is all around us! I’m just me!
