I made this one exception. Technically there is NO BUYING. No exchanging of money. If you decide to do the second hand thing then you are....well not fully on the diet. Of course gifts and borrowing are o.k. The consignment/tag sale thing, in my mind is like drinking beer but claiming to be in an alcoholics anonymous group. I don't want to make anyone feel guilty. These women would have not joined unless they could do a little consigning, yarding on the side. I am not an advocate but I did let them slink in.
